Tascam, a TEAC subsidiary, has introduced last week a new Linear PCM voice recorder with Omnidirectional (YX or AB) Microphones the DR-07mkII. Successor of Tascam good old DR-05, the DR-07mkII comes with the support of MP3 (32-320 Kbps) recording, Linea PCM up to 96kHz/24-Bit WAV. Sold with a 2Gb MicroSDHC Cards, the DR-07mkII support however cards up to 32Gb and offer a battery life up to 17.5h in total on two AA batteries.
